EBMOCB and Eastie girl, Davina Yannetty (lead vocals, ukulele, melodica, and hand percussion) who comes from a long line of East Boston natives, and Heather Mumford (backing vocals, guitar, and hand percussion) kept the room roaring, clapping and singing along with their hilarious brand of comical acoustic rock, performing their great original tunes like "You Can't Be A Stalker If You Don't Have Binoculars", "My Fat Dad" and more. The Boston Typewriter Orchestra (Eastie residents Giordana Mecagni, Jay O'Grady - also of YMCA fame and a founding member of BTO, Richard Maddolo, until recently an Orient Heights resident but has now defected to live in the suburbs of Jamaica Plain), Alex Holman, Derrik Albertelli, and Jim Barnes who came all the way from NY to perform. The group created the most amazing percussion music you could ever imagine coming from six extremely talented people playing old typewriters, combined with a very humorous typing pool performance repertoire. Close to lifelong Eastie resident, Jay O'Grady, said: "When I helped start this offbeat group, I never thought it would be as popular as it's been; so it's great that there's now a space in East Boston where a performance like this can happen."
